It looks like our resident facial hair guru, Eric Majeski, has some friendly competition.
To your right is Chicago’s own Eamon Daly, the mane behind “Things My Beard Can Lift”, a fundraising effort to support a local charity by lifting various really heavy things with his beard.
The only bearded guy more devoted to a good cause is Moses, but then again, did Moses ever lift a 40lb Steel Bowl with his beard? Yeah, take that, Old Testament!
The effort is raising money for the Off the Street Club here, and so far he’s raised over $4000. Not bad, during a recession.
Eric, he’s put his chips down, now either you call or raise him. It’s your responsibility, for the good of this economy.
