Me neither. However, there is now a map on MSNBC.com where you can see where the recession has hit hardest. You can even break it down by month.

Depressing tidbit of the day: There are only 4 states according to this map that aren’t totally screwed.

If there is too much clicking involved, you can even hit play and watch our economy crumble starting in 1994. It’s even broken down by major metro areas. Is this depressing?

Yep.

But it’s the same idea that got me through Jr. High. That idea being that it always makes you feel better to see people who have it worse than you so you can point and laugh.

But now we can see where it starts and who to blame.
